Ramsay Merlot

Ramsay Merlot (Napa Valley, CA) Renowned winemaker Kent Rasmussen is behind this secondary label that bares his wife’s maiden name: Ramsay. These are wonderful wines that are made to be high end, but don’t have the price tag attached. This Merlot is right in there with rose petals, violets, black cherries and cassis on the nose. Medium to full-bodied, a bit of spice and smooth tannins round out this wine. That bit of spice lingers nicely on the finish.
